McLane Also Licensed in Washington

Dear Client: After searching all the states where McLane Co has a foodservice or grocery distribution center, it turns out McLane Beverage Distribution has a license in the State of Washington that was renewed in November. This is after reports surfaced last week that McLane has a pending license in Virginia and temporary license in Florida. Recall McLane general counsel Len Mewhinney told Bill Freehling of the Free Lance Star that they have no "immediate plans to import and wholesale
