Maine Looks to Open Up Retailer Shipping

Dear Client: Several states have been grappling with the retailer shipping issue in recent years, mostly through the court system.  For the most part, states have pushed back against retailer shipping, cracking down on illegal direct shipments and even 'leveling-down' legislation in some cases to prohibit both in-state and out-of-state retailers from shipping directly to consumers.
