Kroger Dives into Wine Delivery

To stay relevant in the changing retail environment, grocers have been beefing up the e-commerce and delivery side of their businesses. The most recent announcement comes from Kroger, which has partnered with Los Angeles-based wine delivery service Drinks Holdings Inc. to offer home wine delivery in 14 states, reports Bloomberg.The wines are priced between $10 and $17 a bottle and hail from California, Italy, France and Spain. They will be available in six and 12-bottle assortments, which sounds a little
