KENTUCKY WINE SHIPPING UP FOR REVIEW

The state of Kentucky will likely learn next week whether a new law limiting direct wine shipping will take effect Jan. 1 as planned.U.S. District Judge Charles R. Simpson III ruled in August that portions of Kentucky’s existing law were unconstitutional under Granholm, which required face-to-face sales and prevented consumers from ordering wine via phone and the internet.
