Interstate Shipping Debate Comes to Cali

There's more fuel to add on the fire that is interstate shipping debate. This time, Florida-based Orion Wine Imports filed a lawsuit against California, challenging the laws that prohibit out-of-state wine importers from selling directly to retailers in the state.In California, importers and wholesalers based outside the state must first sell to an importer or wholesaler in California, even though in-state importers don't have to. Orion argues that adds distribution costs to out-of-state importers that in-state ones don't face, which
