Regulation enforcement has become an increasingly pressing topic for the alcohol industry in the past couple of years as both federal and state agencies are increasing scrutiny on the industry.The TTB has initiated 50 trade practice investigations in the last 12 months. It's "very clear that the TTB is very serious" about cracking down on trade practice violations and considering suspensions and revocations, said Tom Niekamp, former TTB exec and current regulatory consultant at Niekamp and Associates, during a panel
