Freixenet Stakeholders Split on Takeover Offer

Freixenet, Spain's largest sparkling wine maker and leading cava brand, may have received a buyout offer, reports Reuters. Freixenet has 18 wineries across three continents and its portfolio includes namesake Freixenet cava, Gloria Ferrer, Segura Viudas and Ferrer Family Wines among others.The Reuters sources didn't reveal who the potential buyer is, but Spanish news outlets are reporting Freixenet has received a $550+ million offer from Germany's Henkell business, and has granted it due diligence to review financials.Although cava is selling
