Foley to Acquire Chalone

Foley Family Wines has acquired Diageo's last wine interest Chalone Estate Vineyard. The acquisition includes Chalone and Gavilan brands, as well as 1,000 acres of land - 240 of which are planted with wine grapes. The Chalone brands are 100% estate grown and sourced from the oldest producing vineyards in Monterey County. "We have incredible wineries and vineyards stretching from Lincourt in Solvang, California up to Three Rivers in Walla Walla Washington," says Bill Foley, owner of Foley Family Wines.
