Foley Family Plans to “Reinvigorate” Recently-Acquired VWE Brands

Dear Client:   Foley Family Wines & Spirits was one of the first stalking horse bids to emerge in the Vintage Wine Estates bankruptcy proceedings. Late last month, the bankruptcy judge approved the company's bid of $15 million for Bar Dog, Cherry Pie, Swanson, Cosentino and Sonoma Coast Vineyards (SCV) wine brands.  The brands collectively added about 150,000 cases to Foley's portfolio, bringing its wine production to about 1.9 million cases total.  To discuss the recent acquisition, your editor got
