Federal Judge Favors Bacardi in Franchise Fight

Dear Client:You may recall, Missouri distributor Major Brands is embroiled in multiple legal battles against some of its (former) largest suppliers, namely Diageo and Bacardi, after the two terminated their distribution contracts (see WSD 04-23-2013 ). The latest update in the case with Bacardi is that the US District Judge for Southern Florida, Kathleen Williams, ruled in favor of the supplier.
