Evidence of Trading Down in Oregon Pinot Noirs

Dear Client:Once again growth of domestic wines leapt ahead of imports in the four weeks to February 22, according to food, drug and c-store scan data from IRI. Imports were stronger in dollar sales compared to volume, up 2.8%, while domestics grew 8.4% in value. In volume, imports declined -0.4% and domestics grew 6%.PINOTS NOIR AND OREGON SALES SLOW.
