E&J Gallo add Rum to Growing Spirits Portfolio

Dear Client: Gallo has partnered with West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados to add Shellback rum to its growing spirits portfolio that already includes brandy, gin, vodka and tequila. The rum will be available in silver and spiced styles at a suggested retail price of $17 for a 750 ml, reports the Modesto Bee. Rum is the third largest category behind vodka and whiskey with sales reaching nearly $1.2 billion. For the 52-week trends ending July 21, rum volumes grew
