Disaronno Celebrates 500 Years, and Still “Bullish” About the Future

Dear Client: This year Ilva Saronno is celebrating the 500th anniversary of Disaronno. Indeed, the liqueur's first appearance can be traced back to the Renaissance and artist Bernardino Luini.   Centuries later the liqueur is still made in Saronno, Italy, which is just north of Milan. The brand is available in about 160 countries, with volumes at 1.6 million 9-liter cases, the majority of which is sold in the US as the brand's largest market.  Your editor recently chatted with Disaronno
