Diageo and Tenn. Clash over Injunction in Storage Lawsuit

Dear Client:You may recall, Diageo filed a lawsuit against the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) in March over the state's Storage Statute after TABC notified the company it was in violation of the statute for storing Tennessee-produced spirits in Kentucky. Since the initial complaint was filed, Diageo has been unable to obtain a standstill agreement with the TABC to hold off on enforcement of the statute until the case is over.
