Contentious NJ Bill Heads to Gov

Dear Client: A bill that would allow direct shipping has cleared the New Jersey legislature and now heads to Gov. Chris Christie for his consideration. The legislation would allow both in- and out-of-state wineries producing less than 250,000 gallons a year to ship directly to New Jersey residents and retailers, and operate tasting rooms across the state, reports Asbury Park Press. The legislation that passed yesterday is more restrictive than the original proposal, however. The most notable change is that
