Behind Catoctin Creek’s Stake Repurchase

Dear Client: Earlier this month Virginia-based Catoctin Creek Distilling Company announced it reacquired the interest in their company from Constellation Brands Ventures [see WSD 10-05-2023]. No financial details were disclosed.  Your editor got Catoctin Creek founder and gm Scott Harris on the horn to discuss the thought process behind the repurchase and their plans for the future.  A "MUTUAL DECISION." Constellation Ventures made a minority investment in Catoctin in 2017 [see WSD 01-05-2017], and Scott emphasized how grateful Catoctin is
