Beer Companies Zeroing in on Tequila RTDs

Dear Client:   The fastest growing spirits categories are tequila and prepared cocktails/RTDs, so it's no real surprise that a convergence of those two trends—tequila-based RTDs—is garnering attention from beer companies.   The latest? Yesterday Boston Beer Company announced the launch of Loma Vista Tequila Soda. It's rolling out this week in just a handful of markets including Austin, Fort Collins, Kansas City, and Wichita. The lineup includes lime and mango flavors, and will be available in 4-pack 12 oz. cans.
