Alert, The Vintner Group Acquires Martin Scott Wines

Dear Client: Virginia-based importer and distributor The Vintner Group (formerly The Country Vintner) will acquire Martin Scott Wines in Lake Success, New York. The acquisition will expand The Vintner Group's footprint into New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Martin Scott Wines was founded in 1990 by Martin Gold and Scott Gerber. The company will continue to trade as Martin Scott in its distributed territories with no staffing or operational changes scheduled. The transaction is scheduled to close on June 30.
