Alert, Reuters: Brown-Forman Looking to Sell SoCo?

A Reuters report citing unnamed sources claims Brown-Forman has hired Goldman Sachs Group to "explore" the sell-off of brands including Southern Comfort and Chambord in order to "focus on its core whiskey business," led by Jack Daniel's. While the process "is at an early stage," the company has reportedly already contacted "potential buyers." The brands are valued "in the hundreds of millions of dollars."
