Alert, Edrington Sells Cutty Sark to La Martiniquaise-Bardinet

Edrington has found a buyer for its Cutty Sark brand: France's La Martiniquaise-Bardinet.As part of the deal, Edrington will continue to provide blending and bottling and other associated services during a transition period. No financials were disclosed, but the completion of the transfer to La Martiniquaise is expected to be completed within a month, per a release. La Martiniquaise owns a number of brands including: Tiscal tequila, Glen Turner and Label 5 Scotch brands, and Old Virginia bourbon among others.
