Alert: Campari Bolster Cognac Portfolio with $62 million Acquisition

Gruppo Campari has reached an agreement to acquire Bisquit Cognac from South Africa's Distell Group for $62 million. The acquisition includes Bisquit's inventory, maturing stock, trademarks as well a production facilities consisting of warehouses, blending cellars and a bottling plant. Bisquit was established in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit, and has grown to include four core offerings V.S Classique, t V.S.O.P, Prestige, X.O, and a line of limited edition and rare selections.
