Dear Client: Discount grocer Aldi announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket from Southeastern Grocers for an undisclosed sum. This deal is part of a larger divestiture by Southeastern Grocers, and will add about 400 stores to Aldi's footprint.
