80% of Caymus Production to Move Outside of Napa

Wagner Family of Wine has reached a settlement with Napa County officials last Tuesday, after a 2008 Napa County audit found the company's annual production exceeded its permit limit by nearly 2 million gallons at its Rutherford-based Caymus winery [see WSD 09-09-2013].The Napa County Board of Supervisors has approved a modified permit for Caymus that dictates, among other things, wine production at the facility must be cut down to the currently permitted 110,000 gallons by 2018 before having it rise
