Why Non-Alcs are Sexy to Beer Distributors
Few things are more timely than cross-categorical insights these days. Spiked seltzer products are dominating craft brewers' latest release announcements. And of course, A-B has just announced a preliminary deal with Starbucks to produce, bottle, and distribute through its wholesaler network a premium tea, Teavana Ready-to-Drink (RTD), in the U.S. next year. Why? Beer distributors want to distribute non-alcs, which play hugely in the massive c-store channel.
