Emilio Fullaondo, Grupo Modelo chief financial officer, said on a conference call last week that Victoria passed 2 million cases in its first year on the market in the US, driving Modelo's US volumes up 4% in the quarter ending July 3. He indicated that Victoria broke into the top 20 imported beers after being introduced in Chicago in June 2010.
