Harry Schuhmacher is Editor & Publisher of Beer Business Daily, Craft Business Daily and Wine & Spirits Daily – all read on every continent except Antarctica. Harry has worked in the beer business for over 30 years in a variety of positions, and has published Beer Business Daily for over twenty years. In addition, he is the producer of the Beer Industry Summit and the Wine & Spirits Summit. He is often quoted as a beer industry expert in national publications such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Harry lives in a restored brewery in San Antonio, Texas. He enjoys reading, dive bars, and drinking beer in beer-clean glasses.

Jenn Litz-Kirk

Director of Content

Jenn Litz-Kirk is the Director of Content for Beer Business Daily and Craft Business Daily. Jenn is a decade-long veteran of b2b food and drink publishing, for outlets from Plate chef trade magazine to the Networld Alliance suite of industry publications. Her consumer-facing food and beer writing has appeared in magazines like Cowboys & Indians, Draft, and Indianapolis alt-weekly, Nuvo Newsweekly, where her work as food critic incited a few Nuvo kiosk tossings.

Jordan Driggers

Senior Beer Editor

Jordan Driggers is the Senior Beer Editor for the beer side of things at Schumacher Publishing. Jordan, a San Antonio native, started covering the industry while attending Ole Miss, writing for the school newspaper, Daily Mississippian, and local publication HottyToddy.com. After graduating in 2013, Jordan came back home and immediately started working alongside Harry and Jenn. Fun Facts: In addition to his role as senior editor, Jordan is charged with the challenging task of keeping Harry out of trouble.

Bianca Bruno

Beer Editor

Bianca Bruno is a Beer Editor of both Beer Business Daily and Craft Business Daily. She covers the in’s and out’s of the beer business including litigation, legislation and lobbying efforts. She’s also excited about innovation in the industry, including the rise of non alc offerings. Bianca landed at Schuhmacher Publishing after working for more than six years as the San Diego reporter and podcast host for legal news outlet Courthouse News. There, she covered dozens of high-profile cases and trials including a beer industry trademark trial which got international attention. Bianca attended the University of San Diego. She has worked for multiple San Diego news outlets including Voice of San Diego, KPBS and City News Service.

Sarah Barrett

Executive Editor

Sarah Barrett joined the Wine & Spirits Daily team as Associate Editor in 2015 and took on the Executive Editor role in early 2019. Committed to working odd hours and traveling across the country, she regularly contributes executive interviews and the daily aggregation of news stories. She graduated with a BA in English from Trinity University in San Antonio, and has leapt headfirst into wine and spirits journalism.

Hana Kruger

Assistant Editor for Wine & Spirits Daily

Hana Kruger is the Assistant Editor for Wine & Spirits Daily. Hana is a recent graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. After working as an intern at Schuhmacher Publishing during her senior year, she joined the world of beer, wine and spirits full-time. In her free time, she enjoys building her Animal Crossing empire and doting on her cat.

Jessica Lopez

VP of Sales & Circulation

Jessica is the VP of Sales & Circulation at Schuhmacher Publishing, starting at the ground and growing professionally with the company since 2015. She is a graduate of Bellevue University with a Bachelor’s in History and is an Air Force veteran. Her favorite part of working at SchuPubs is helping our diverse clientele and making new friends along the way.

Jessica is married to her sweetheart of over 20 years and has raised two children. She currently lives in Missouri with her family and enjoys exploring all the Midwest has to offer and imbibing along the way.

Millicent Ryne

VP of Marketing & Business Development

Millicent Ryne is the VP of Marketing & Business Development at Schuhmacher Publishing.  Millicent graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in corporate communications. After school, Millicent was the Marketing and Admissions Director for several nursing homes in South Texas.  After that, she worked in sales and recruiting for a top IT firm.

 

Biscuit Schuhmacher

Security

Biscuit grew up in San Antonio, Texas, spending her youth protecting a private household from squirrels, rabbits, and the occasional armadillo.  More recently she has moved to the Pearl Brewery where her responsibilities now also include chasing off ducks who stray from the San Antonio River. Biscuit occasionally moonlights as our data analyst, under the pseudonym “Blue”. She is 11 years old and her favorite dive bar is Still Golden Social House, but she stubbornly has no hobbies other than napping and collecting old tennis balls.
