Several States Close to Legalizing Recreational Marijuana in 2016

Dear Client:Marijuana advocacy has come a long ways since the last presidential election. Only three states had ballot measures during the 2012 election that sought to legalize recreational marijuana (Colorado, Oregon and Washington state). Colorado and Washington state passed their measures, opening the door for Oregon, Alaska and D.C. to do the same in the following years.The domino effect continues to carry as we see a handful of states attempting to follow suit via ballot measures during the pivotal election
