Indiana's largest beer distributor, Monarch, is pulling out of the wine business in September. In March, its largest wine supplier, E&J Gallo, terminated the relationship for Monarch's alleged inability to service the wine producer's growing liquor portfolio. Recall, Monarch has long been fighting local laws prohibiting beer wholesalers from selling liquor as well. They still have a court case pending.
