Modelo Especial, Twisted Tea Widen Gains in Latest Scans

Dear Client: Last week, Modelo Especial just barely surpassed Bud Light in dollar share of beer YTD in NIQ scans to 8/12, at 8.34 for Modelo and 8.28 for Bud Light. The newest set of scans show Modelo Especial’s dollar share lead widening slightly. In NIQ total measured off-premise channels data to 8/19, Modelo Especial is now at 8.4 dollar share of beer YTD, vs. Bud Light at 8.2. Of course, in YTD volume trends, Bud Light is still king.
