As A-B distribs are meeting in Chicago to learn their marketing plans, Miller distributors have been getting an eye-full at their regional marketing meetings last week and this week (in Washington DC, Tampa, Milwaukee, and Las Vegas). The most striking revelation is that Miller will be upping its target for their on-premise taste challenges to five million consumers by year end 2005. That's a lot of sampling. Recall that A-B is targeting three million with their day fresh campaign on-premise.
