Judge Agrees to Suspend Lawsuit

Dear Client:A federal judge in Washington DC has agreed to suspend the DOJ lawsuit against AB InBev seeking to stop the Modelo deal after all the parties asked the court for a one month suspension so they can continue talks. U.S. District Judge Richard Roberts said late Friday afternoon that if the case settles "in whole or in part" the DOJ should quickly file a notice of dismissal.
