Gov. Hickenlooper Signs Colorado Beer Bill

Dear Client:Wow. After a week that saw major modernization efforts in Pennsylvania, we just got word that Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper has signed Senate Bill 197 into law. It's being billed as the biggest change to state liquor laws since Prohibition's end. "The new law allows grocers and major retailers such as Walmart and Target to compete directly with liquor stores," by being able to sell full-strength beer, liquor and wine in a phased manner -- expanding sales to 20
