Domestic Shipments Rock in December

Despite reports of a beer sales slowdown in December, domestic shipments to distributors certainly didn't let up. The Beer Institute's Lester Jones estimates that domestic taxpaid shipments were up 5.6% (we did have two extra shipping days, although with brewery shipments that doesn't mean much, because they ship beer for the month based on forecasts, not based on shipping days).
