Recall that Louisiana beer distributors and their association, the Beer League of Louisiana, as well as MillerCoors and Abita, worked to pass a bill (HB 907) which sought to fix a loophole in Louisiana's alcohol code which had allowed an out-of-state brewer who has held a LA wholesaler license for at least 15 years prior to January 31, 2003, to be allowed to own a wholesaler branch.
