Friday saw the latest in a series of gloomy news coming out of the country's largest craft brewers. As reported in CBD, New Belgium laid off 28 employees -- despite growing sales -- representing 4% of their workforce. The layoffs were attributed to missed long term budgeted sales made in 2013, which they expected to be 40% higher than they are today. The cuts are at their two breweries, not in field sales.
