One of the only good things about getting old in an industry is that you get to see the progression of young entrepreneurs as they take our industry into the next generation. The first time I mentioned Meg Gill's name was actually before I even met her. I was giving a presentation at the California Beer and Beverage Wholesalers Convention several years ago and I showed a slide of Meg and her partner Tony Yanow smiling in front of a tiny brew kettle right when they were getting Los Angeles' Golden Road Brewing started.
