U.S. Craft up 18% at Halfyear; Breweries Hit 3,040, Almost 2,000 More Planned

Dear Client: Small and independent craft brewers enjoyed continued growth in the first half of 2014, according to new mid-year data just released by the Brewers Association. One of the big headlines: American craft beer production volume increased 18% during the first half of the year. Through June 2014 this year, craft brewers have sold about 10.6 million barrels of beer, up from 9 million barrels over the first half of 2013. The BA noted that the 18% growth rate
