Tieup in Tennessee As Wiseacre Acquires Bearded Iris

Dear Client:  Reports began to trickle in Tuesday afternoon from Tennessee outlets that Memphis-based Wiseacre Brewing had seemingly taken over Nashville’s Bearded Iris Brewing. The Nashville Business Journal first shared that Wiseacre applied for beer board permits at both of Bearded Iris’ locations in the city “due to change of ownership,” and temporary permits were issued earlier this month. Neither brewer commented on the matter, as of Tuesday, but by now founders of the respective breweries have confirmed the acquisition
