Texas Beer Growth Driven by the High End

Dear Client: We've been charting big Texas craft brands [see CBD 07-20-2015] for latest on Shiner] and remarking on how much room craft has to grow in fast-growing markets like Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. Nielsen shared a picture of Texas x-AOC to indeed reveal that its beer growth (through May, up the most in shipments of the biggest five beer states) has been driven mostly by imports and craft, despite declines in the premium light segment (which has been
