Summit Pulling Six States

Dear Client:Summit has been in the news lately for distribution woes: Late last month, we reported that Minnesota distributor Needham filed suit against the Saint Paul, Minnesota-based brewer for wrongful termination. Apparently Summit wanted to turn some of their Needham territory over to J.J. Taylor. Today, the brewer has made a separate, surprising announcement: They'll pull distribution from six states, per their website's "where to find" page. "RECENT CHANGES TO THE INDUSTRY HAVE MADE GETTING OUR BEER TO RETAILERS DIFFICULT..."
