Reuters Questions Craft Safety

Dear Client: "From 2009 through 2012, at least four people died in craft brewery accidents in the United States," compared to two for the larger breweries that produce "10 times more beer," per a Reuters story making the rounds in several outlets. It analyzed federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration data and media reports to find close to "four times as many safety violations at craft breweries in recent years than at large breweries," and suggested countless more go unreported.
