Nearing its First Anniversary, NB2A Doubles Down on Increasing Black Brewery Ownership

Dear Client:    It’s been nearly a year since the formation of the National Black Brewers Association was announced at the Craft Brewers Conference [see CBD 05-08-2023 ] and in the time since, the organization has made progress toward its no. 1 goal: increasing Black brewery ownership.  “We actually helped one brewer become a brewery owner last year,” NB2A executive director Kevin Asato said, referring to Harlem Brewing Company’s Celeste Beatty during a panel discussion at the California Craft Brewers Conference.
