Massachusetts ABC Makes an Example out of Craft Brewers Guild

Dear Client:After launching their inquiry into pay-to-play activity a little over a year ago, the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission has finally issued their first punishment and it's a doozy.The ABCC has dropped the hammer on the Sheehan's Craft Brewers Guild handing down "an unprecedented 90-day license suspension," per Boston Globe.The Craft Brewers Guild admitted their wrongdoing to state regulators at a hearing last September, confessing to "giving bars between $1,000 and $2,000 annually for each tap handle." The Guild
