Dear Client:This week we got word of some changes afoot in A-B's 18,000-strong U.S. workforce. They particularly impact The High End. A-B sent note to its distributors today that, due to new partnerships in recent years, they've added more than 2,000 new employees, bringing their total number of employees to more than 18,000. A new series of field sales streamlining efforts will cut their U.S. workforce by less than 2%. The majority of the "simplifications" affect their 3,000-person High End
