Latest Jim Koch: On Craft and GDP to Inevitable Franchise Reform

Dear Client: Jim Koch offered a few novel sound bites at his Beverage Forum keynote yesterday. How long can craft continue to post up growth like last year's +18%? Well, not for 30 years. Jim calculated it: "If it kept going 30 or 40 years, craft beer would be 100% of the GDP of the United States. That would be a nice thing, but you have to buy cars and peanut butter and stuff like that." There were laughs. More
