Lagunitas Walking Away from Dilapidated Charleston Taproom

Dear Client:Among their flurry of partnerships last year, Lagunitas contracted for a taproom in Charleston.We reported last summer that the brewer was "under contract" to transform the Southend Brewery and Smokehouse into a new Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary.The new venue was to be "a cornerstone location for Lagunitas in the Southeast," offering exclusive small batch beers brewed in Southend's existing 10-barrel brewhouse, per company statement.But now, Lagunitas founder Tony Magee says the building is not suitable for retail. So
