Dear Client: Yesterday morning, Tilray announced it had acquired “certain highly strategic assets” of BrewDog’s global platform for about $44 million, including the global brand IP, its flagship brewery in Ellon, Scotland, and 11 UK and Ireland brewpubs. The company is separately negotiating to acquire certain U.S. and Australia assets under a follow-on agreement expected to close shortly [see CBD 03-01-2026]. But it was a "crazy day" to get there.
