Hemp Beverage Alliance: The Sheriff Needed to Govern Wild West of D-9?

Dear Client:  The Hemp Beverage Alliance (HBA) came out this week largely in support of the Beer Institute’s new guiding principles on hemp beverages [see BBD 11-11-2024 ]. As the hemp beverage (and potentially the larger cannabis industry) takes shape, the BI is calling for regulators and stakeholders to create guidelines around revenue, regulation, responsibility and research.  Recall, HBA is a trade organization, which now has 240 members, including hemp beverage manufacturers, distributors, retailers and bev alc industry members.
