Harpoon Acquires Clown Shoes

Dear Client:Harpoon -- AKA the Mass Bay Brewing Company, which brews Harpoon and UFO brands -- has announced it is acquiring Clown Shoes Brewing. Terms weren't immediately disclosed.The Clown Shoes brand started in 2009 as a collaboration effort with Ipswich Ale Brewing, and grew from there. They are known for colorfully packaged, whimsical brews like Space Cake Double IPA and Chocolate Sombrero "Mexican style" chocolate stout.
