Florida Growler, Tasting Bills Get Early Start

Dear Client: Recall attempts in Florida earlier this year to legalize 64 oz. beer containers (the state restricts beer sales to containers of 32 ounces or less, or 128 ounces or more). Ultimately, Rep. Debbie Mayfield denied to give "growler bills" a hearing at the House Business and Professional Regulation Subcommittee that she chairs. But this next time around, says Florida Brewers Guild executive director Josh Aubuchon, they're starting the cause early: They've already filed House Bill 283 and Senate
